Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Lupinas Co., Ltd. (the operator of 333 Tokyo Base Tower) collects, stores, and uses information you provide on our guest registration form. We follow Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報保護法) and the Housing Accommodation Business Act (住宅宿泊事業法, Minpaku).
Why we collect your information
Japanese law requires lodging operators to maintain a guest registry for every stay. We use the information solely for this legal obligation, for communicating with you about your stay, and for generating the bi-monthly statutory report submitted to Japan's Minpaku regulatory authority.
What we collect
- Stay dates and number of guests
- For each guest: full name, address, occupation, nationality
- For each guest: a copy of the passport identification page
- Your email address, for confirmation and communication about the stay
Where we store it
Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, encrypted at rest. Passport images are kept in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible and can only be retrieved by Lupinas administrators. Structured data (name, address, etc.) is stored in a private database.
How long we keep it
We retain your information for three years from your check-out date, as required by Japanese law. After that period, your data is automatically and irreversibly deleted.
Who we share it with
We share the information only with the Japan Tourism Agency (観光庁) via the Minpaku regulatory portal as required by law. Aggregate, statutory reports include nationality counts and stay nights but do not include passport images, addresses, or names. We do not sell, lease, or share your data with any other third party.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@lupinas.co.jp. We will respond within 14 days. Note that we may be required by law to retain certain records for the full three-year retention period.
